Temur Jvarsheishvili, a co-founder and managing director of “Development Hub,” recently shared insights at an international media literacy conference in Vanadzor, Armenia. Invited by American councils, he delved into the state of media literacy education in Georgia and drew from his experiences in both formal and informal teaching of this crucial skill.
Notably, Jvarsheishvili and his team achieved a significant milestone by introducing media literacy education to secondary-level students in Georgia through the Georgian-American International School in Progress.
During the event, he conducted a workshop for Armenian colleagues and representatives from local civil society organizations. The workshop focused on integrating media literacy into various projects. The session was engaging and interactive, culminating in a productive Q&A segment.
